Neighbors Down the Road

Started with plein air and finished in the studio; oil on panel; the farmer of the cows, , near Merrimac, WI, was very proud of his herd and told me quite a lot about them but I was really only interested in how beautifully the light was hitting and appreciative how they seemed to be perfectly content to pose.
